Pinkcity to get World’s third largest and country’s second largest cricket stadium with capacity of 75,000

The International Cricket Stadium proposed in Jaipur by Rajasthan Cricket Association(RCA) will be the third largest in the world and second largest cricket stadium in the country. Mahendra Sharma, RCA Secretary has said today that it will be having a capacity of 75 thousand spectators, which is the third highest after Gujarat’s Motera Cricket Stadium and Australia’s Melbourne Cricket Stadium.

It is planned to construct the stadium in two phases. The first phase will be constructed in such a way that it will have a capacity of 45,000 viewers while the capacity will be increased to 75,000 in the other phase.

He further said that the stadium will be built on 100 acres of land, having a multi-purpose training academy, modern club house with indoor sports facilities, parking available for around 4000 cars and special space will be constructed for public transport.

Sharma said that Restaurants and other facilities will also be provided for public convenience in the east and west side on the stadium. He said that the stadium will also have two ground of international level including 30 practice nets. Apart from these this, there will be a 250 seater press confrence room available for the media.
