The glorious city, Jaipur has evolved in a different manner when it comes to the cinema.  The halls assures to give its audience the royal feel with its heritage interiors. One can sway their mind as now more of multiplexes screens the show at multiple time.

Due to the more of urbanisation, single screen cinema halls has lost their major significance. Mostly of them has shut-down and some are under refurbishing but among all, some continues with the legacy of being unique and special and are still a centre of attraction for the visitors.

Raj Mandir Cinema

When people think of cinema one surely could not skip about raj mandir. It is one of the finest art of the creators and termed as pride of Asia. It is constructed according to the great Indian vastu arts which is famous for its elegance and beauty. It catches the attraction of tourist as it is on the map of Asia. The cinema hall is comprised of all classical and western movies at particular interval of time. It gives the audience the aura of being feel royal as it is covered with velvet draped curtains on a gigantic screen with natural floral scent and high ceiling ornamented with chandeliers.

Ram Prakash Cinema

The one of the oldest cinema hall of Jaipur that was first built as a theatre where plays across the country has performed. It was inaugurated in 1879 by Maharaja Swami Ram Singh II. This cinema hall has witnessed the Indian architecture but now got closed due to transfer of ownership to private lenders.

Man Prakash Cinema

The hall was used to be one of the famous cinema hall that represented the heritage look to its exterior.

It is shut down as of now and being converted into a mall named GTC. The upcoming generations and the tourist now wouldn’t be able to seek out the true beauty.

Prem Prakash cinema

The hall has renamed as golcha years before and it is surviving out to the fittest in the huge competition.  Due to the low maintained and infrastructure it has been renovated and   converted into a 3 screen cinema hall also it was one and only hall in Rajasthan to pasteurised film on 70 mm screen, that is such a huge screen. It offers the famous Prem Prakash samosa.

Polo victory Cinema

India, won the world cup in polo on 1933 that was the historic moment for all the Indians. The hall was built as a pride for the Indians that will remind them entire their life about this big achievement win over the world. It got inaugurated by the Governor of Independent india, General Lord Mountbatten. The hall is still famous for its uniqueness and now into a hotel.

Lakshmi Mandir

At a time it was one of the finest cinema hall   at Tonk Phatak, due loosed its spark due to more of innovation and invention. It is important to deal with the new technologies and competitors else you would lose your earned ethnicity from the market.

Samrat Cinema

It was one of the oldest cinema hall in the pink city which used to be the choice of visit to the visitors. It is now closed due to some legal issues. We can just hope for its turning come back as it was known for its unique architecture.

Sangam Cinema

Sangam cinema hall has totally lost its existence from the market as there is no hope of its renovation

Paras Cinema

Paras cinema hall has justified the pink city with pink coloured walls in the hall. It is situated at Zorawar Singh Gate and still show casing the movies. Being single screen hall, it is giving a competition to the multiplexes.

Minerva Cinema

It was once known as Ganga Talkies which was further changed into Minerva that showcase the name of Roman Goddess. It is now closed and utitlised as a parking area at the market.

Ankur Cinema

The cinema hall is situated near to Ghat Gate and still operating in the market. The place requires huge maintenance and updating as it does not telecast Bollywood movies.

Kohinoor Complex

It is among in the first few cinemas that has opened in Sanager area of Jaipur. The place is now innovated and refurbished by the owners and attracting the crowd towards it.

Gem Cinema

Gem cinema was used to be gem of all the movie lovers. When it comes to Hollywood, it was the one of choices to opt for the morning shows. Due to the tough competition it has lost its relevance

Saroj Cinema

It was situated at Chandpol Gate in the city. Earlier it telecasted few Hollywood movies but now it went off from the  market.
