Night Curfew in Jaipur on new year’s Eve, Restrictions on New year Celebrations

This new year will not be the same as Government has imposed night curfew on 31st December, 2020.

On this New year, people are not allowed to go outside and party due to night curfew. Curfew time is from 8.00 pm on 31st December, 2020 to 6.00 am on 1st January, 2021. It is mandatory to close hotel, business institutions and restaurants after 7.00 pm in the evening. If anyone breaks the rules then necessary action will be taken by the police.

As per the corona guidelines, barricading is done at 82 places during a day, 120 places in the evening and almost 90 places during night. Additionally, more teams will be there in the area of Jaipur Police Commissionerate.

At the time of curfew no event can be held at any place as it is strictly banned. Officers need to keep their eye on the places. Approximately 355 actions have been taken in jaipur city in the last 24 hours. Also, police has been charged Rs. 3.63 lakh fine from the people. In addition to this, overall 1.96 lakh actions have been taken and Rs. 2.54 crore fine is recovered by the officers.

Disaster Act is applicable in the state to prevent the infection of corona virus and approx 10.96 lakh individuals have been charged under this act for:
– [ ] Not wearing the mask (3.60 lakh individuals)
– [ ] For selling products without wearing the mask (14457 people)
– [ ] For not maintaining social distancing ( 7,17,448 people)

9927 Indio has been arrested by the officers and almost 3864 FIRs were registered For breach of quarantine norms. 1,80,948 vehicles were seized and 13,68,580 vehicles have been challaned under the MV and prohibition act.

There are some areas in the Jaipur where police have deployed special groups such as Vaishali nagar, Pratap nagar, Tonk road, MI road, C-scheme, Mansarovar, Malviya Nagar. Police are monitoring restaurants and hotels on frequent basis. If any rules are break by people then they have to pay the fine.

Every kind of function or programs are banned wholly. If any violation found then strict actions will be taken by the officers. Instructions have been given to every police station. Special teams are prepared for the surveillance.
